RS232/RS422/RS485 monitoring using “EZ-Tap Pro” (ProTap) and “Versa-Tap” (VersaTap) is supported in Docklight, Docklight Scripting and Docklight Pro Monitor.

You can choose between Docklight (or Docklight Scripting), for advanced data sequence detection and reformatting, but with limitations when it comes to high baud rates and high data throughput. Or use Docklight Pro Monitor, our new lightweight and lightning-fast monitoring tool for high-speed connections. We recommend trying our free evaluation versions, and decide which software is the best fit for your application.
Please Note:
* The Versa-Tap “Synchronous HDLC Mode” is not supported currently.
* Docklight does not expose the full internal Versa-Tap time resolution (microseconds), but will process communication data with the standard Docklight time resolution (milliseconds).
